Abortion

We specialise in termination (abortion) of pregnancy up to 16 weeks. Any procedure after 16 weeks requires specialist advice available from this clinic.

Contraception

We offer a variety of contraceptive means, including the insertion and removal of:

• Intrauterine Devices (IUD) -  a small piece of plastic which contains either copper or the hormone progesterone, IUD Mirena and
• Multi Load IUD
• Contraceptive Implants - a small plastic rod containing the hormone progesterone.
• Contraceptive Injections - an injection.
• OCP - oral contraceptive pill.

These procedures can be performed with an anaesthetic if requested.

GSDS Staff offer sympathetic and caring advice on contraception and family planning.
